Skin cancer is the most common of all cancers. There are three types : skin melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Sun exposure is the main cause of skin cancer. Early diagnosis and surgical excision with proper margins can treat most of skin malignancies.

Every skin lesion / mole that displays change in size, colour and shape or sudden bleeding should be removed surgically.
